The eTutor training course is a basic training course for student assistants and tutors to support digitally supported teaching at Thuringian universities. The training takes place online, hybrid and with self-study units.

The eTutor training course qualifies students for supporting activities in digitally enriched university teaching. The course teaches basic skills in the use of learning platforms (e.g. Moodle), digital tools and methods for virtual collaboration as well as introductory knowledge of media didactic principles and AI in university teaching. The aim is to strengthen students in their role as multipliers and prepare them to provide high-quality support to teachers in digital teaching settings.
The modules are completed in online workshops and self-study units. A certificate is issued upon completion of all basic modules. The eTutor training usually takes place in the winter semester and is also available to English-speaking students.
The eTeach Network Thuringia is an association of state colleges and universities in Thuringia for the cooperative further development of digitally enriched university teaching. Cross-university training courses, networking opportunities and funding opportunities for teaching projects are intended to make results visible and promote a mutual exchange of experience.
Die Schulung ergänzt das Workshop-Programm für Tutorinnen und Tutoren der Servicestelle LehreLernen. Die Einrichtung bietet z. B. den Workshop Moodle-Grundlagen an, der auf das eTeach-Zertifikat angerechnet werden kann.
