Description
The Zoom Whiteboard is a function in the Video conferencing tool ZoomXwhich can be used for video conferencing during studies, courses and business meetings at the University of Jena. It enables collaboration on a digital pinboard and the joint development of ideas and content.
Possible applications and technical functions
You can use the whiteboard for e.g:
- Brainstorming in groups, collecting ideas
- Project planning
- Development of concepts and processes
- Collection of feedback
- Structuring content
- Activate participants, e.g. start a discussion, opinion polls
Functions:
- Free design with drawing tools, post-its, templates for diagrams etc.
- Sharing of boards and simultaneous editing by several people in real time
- Tracking mode for joint viewing and presentation
- Creating and editing whiteboards directly in the Zoom meeting or outside of meetings
Good to know
As an alternative to the Zoom whiteboard, you can use the Moodle activity board which you can integrate directly into your Moodle course and which has an easy-to-use column design.
