Advice on research data management

All researchers at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena

Research data management covers the areas of data management planning, data collection, storage and long-term backup, data processing, preparation and documentation, quality assurance as well as the provision and publication of data.

All members and affiliates of the University of Jena are committed to active research data management in accordance with the rules of good scientific practice through the "Guidelines for Handling Research Data". The responsibility for this lies fundamentally with the researchers and in particular with the head of the respective research activity. We advise both individuals and entire working or project groups on all aspects of research data management.
