eTeach free spaces

For lecturers at Thuringian universities who want to further develop a specific teaching format and use new digital or media-based elements.

The eTeach open spaces are a low-threshold funding line for teachers who want to further develop their existing courses in a targeted manner - e.g. through new methods, digital tools, video production or the development of teaching materials. The aim is to strengthen students' skills acquisition, improve learning success and increase accessibility.

The funding is aimed at lecturers with the authority to design the content of a course. One application can be submitted per person per semester. The maximum funding amount is 3,000 euros. Eligible costs include fees, technical support, teaching materials and student assistants.

The results of the funded projects are to be presented as good practices and disseminated via the Platform of the eTeach network be made accessible to other teachers.

The following deadlines must be observed:

July 1: Applicants first submit an expression of interest with a rough concept to the eTeach contact point.
September 1: Submission of the final application to the eTeach contact point.

The eTeach Network Thuringia is an association of state colleges and universities in Thuringia for the cooperative further development of digitally enriched university teaching. Cross-university training courses, networking opportunities and funding opportunities for teaching projects are intended to make results visible and promote a mutual exchange of experience.

The eTeach contact point then takes over the internal university coordination processes. The formal submission of the application is then carried out by the eTeach contact point.
