Description

The Academy for Teaching Development regularly supports student initiatives. In doing so, it supports the commitment of students to subject-related or interdisciplinary (digital) teaching.

Within this framework, individual student project ideas are supported with a maximum funding amount of 2,500 euros each. These funds can be used, for example, to finance student assistants, event materials or expenses for the documentation and publication of project-specific results and findings.

The criteria that are given special consideration in the evaluation of applications are:

  • The project addresses a current problem of study-related learning
  • The project serves to sustainably improve teaching and/or learning methods
  • The event or project is planned and carried out by students of the University of Jena

Applications for funding for student projects can be submitted twice a year to the Academy for Teaching Development via the faculty management.
