About GitlabAll members of the University of Jena, external persons via guest account
The Friedrich Schiller University's GitLab instance is the central place where students, staff and guests can work together on projects, share and manage code, and collaborate on presentations and papers. Private and public projects are possible. A public repository can serve as a source of knowledge. This allows code and project documentation to be made accessible to other developers or interested third parties.
It is also possible to supplement the collaborative working environment with wiki and issue tracker functions. As a decentralized versioning system, Gitlab makes it possible to keep track of constant changes. By taking a detailed look at the history, changes made (including the date and author of each change) can be tracked. This enables controlled development.
