Moodle activity board

Teachers and students of the University of Jena

The Moodle Board is an activity in Moodle that can be created directly in your Moodle course. The digital pinboard can be used by teachers and students to collect and structure content using post-its. The board comes with a column design: content can be sorted into columns and moved back and forth between them.

Once you have initially created the board in the Moodle course, you can use it in the same way as standard digital whiteboards, e.g. for:

• Brainstorming in groups, collecting ideas
• Project planning
• Collection of feedback
• Structuring content
• Activate students, e.g. start a discussion, opinion polls

The following functions enable collaboration:

• Collaborative editing of a board by adding posts (text, media, links)
• Rights management by teachers
• Commenting on posts
• Marking of favorites
• Download a summary
