Description

This compact course teaches you the basics of using the ThULB search in about 20 minutes.

You will learn the basics of the ThULB search and get a quick introduction to using the discovery system. You will learn how to search the ThULB's library holdings in a targeted manner and how to use them for your academic work. You will also practise formulating precise search queries and narrowing down the results using filters and facets. You will learn what types of media you can find, including books, journals, articles, book chapters, e-books and databases. Another focus is on using your personal user account to manage loans, reservations and renewals.

After reading it, beginners can quickly start their searches, while advanced users will receive tips on how to optimize their searches.
