Description
The Uni-Cloud is a cloud service for storing and sharing data from research, teaching and studies.
The University Computer Center provides the cloud storage and web access to the university cloud, is responsible for updates, backups and maintenance to ensure operation, and provides IT support for users with questions and problems.
Possible applications and technical functions
- Creation of files (e.g. tables, text documents, presentations, PDF forms)
- Creation and sharing of surveys, notes, forms, decks (e.g. Kanban deck for project management), tasks
- Synchronization of files between different devices
- Synchronization of files in local folders and cloud with the desktop client (NextCloud)
- Sharing and joint management of files within workgroups
- Joint and simultaneous processing of documents
- Extensions allow task management, video calls, chat and appointments to be shared between different users
By default, each user receives 25 GB for free use. Additional storage capacity can be added conveniently and flexibly via the Service portal can be applied for.
