Description
The increasing prevalence of computation and digitally supported data analysis in research means that researchers at all career levels need digital skills that go far beyond what is often taught in traditional degree programs. To close this gap, zedif offers further education courses on these topics. With the certificate, you can have the skills you have acquired certified. The course selection must cover a certain scope and a certain range of topics:
- At least 3 workshops from each of the three pillars must have been attended:
- Research data management
- Research software, data processing and analysis
- Publication and presentation
- A total of at least 15 workshops or 5 ECTS-equivalent points must have been earned through workshops in the entire certificate program.
Topics
- Research data management (e.g. Eletronic Lab notebooks, data protection, REFODAT)
- Research software (e.g. spreadsheets, OpenRefine, Git, SPSS, Python)
- Publication and presentation (e.g. open access, literature management, writing weeks, LaTex, Adobe Indesign)
