Description

Zotero is a free open-source software for literature management. The name of the free open-source software zotero is derived from the Albanian word zotëroj and means: to grasp something quickly.

In this approx. 90-minute self-study course (videos & exercises) you will learn how to quickly collect bibliographic data, organize literature and use it in word processing programs. This course is a self-study module and includes an exercise that demonstrates how a reference management program can best support the research process. In addition to the course, appointments for consultations can be arranged.

The course is aimed at all members of the University of Jena. You can install the software on your own computer or use it on the training computers at the ThULB (room 152). The software can also be used by Mac users. After completing the course, you will be able to use Zotero effectively in the writing process - e.g. for term papers and theses, bibliographies or collaborative projects
