Mental Health First Aid - psychological first aid

Arrange a meetingWhether at university, at work or in private life, digitalization, acceleration and personal as well as social crises can affect mental health. At the University of Jena, we are committed to ensuring that employees and students can receive first aid for mental health problems, regardless of the cause - in cooperation with the Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) program.
MHFA is an internationally recognized programme that helps to recognize the signs and symptoms of mental illness and to offer support for those affected on the basis of first aid measures and to provide further help in an uncomplicated manner. At the University of Jena, you can contact certified employees or students directly and receive help. All active first aiders have the certified MHFA training and are able to talk to you about health problems and disorders of your mental well-being.
Important: The MHFA team does not make diagnoses or offer treatment. However, the first aiders can listen, offer you uncomplicated help and are able to refer you to the people who can help you. All counseling services are strictly confidential and free of charge.
